The Story of the Perfect Dog Bed
Cool Bed was inspired from watching my adorable fluffy English Cream Golden Retriever, Hank, come in from the North Carolina summer heat and plop straight down onto the air duct pumping out AC cooled air. He'd then spend hours switching from laying on the vent cooling off and his comfortable dog bed never seeming to be happy in just one place.

After searching the web, I found no better solution for Hank, so I decided to use my 30 years of engineering experience and created his perfect bed. A bed that was as comfortable as his favorite spot, with a fan system to keep him cool AND comfortable.

After numerous prototypes and lots of "certified by Hank" testing we are proud to share our New Cool Spot Dog Bed with all our furry friends that would like to be cool and comfortable this summer — cause don't we all want to be cool and comfortable during the STEAMING HOT "Dog Days of Summer".

How does the blower work?
When the power switch is on AND the dog pushes down on the mesh, a photoelectric sensor is blocked and turns the blower on. When the dog gets off the bed, the mesh returns to it’ s original position, so with no obstruction the blower shuts off. With the power switch on, your pet can activate the bed anytime. It is lighted so you can easily see if it is ready.
Can the bed be used outdoors?
Yes, it can withstand low pressure water, suitable for rain or splashes, and pee.
Is the blower quiet?
Yes, the blower is designed with two 12VDC fans with a combined rating of 45dB. This is considered roughly equivalent to a quiet library.
What makes this mesh better than others on the market?
Most dog beds trap heat; even some who describe themselves as having a cooling mesh. This mesh is ultra thick, heavy duty and 30% OPEN, yet stands up to scratching, digging, and playing.
What size dogs can use the bed?
Medium and large breeds not more than 100 pounds. ​
How difficult is the bed to assemble?
This bed was designed to be easy to assemble in 6 steps. No tools are needed. No tediousness.

6 Steps:

Create your end braces by sliding white pvc into the short mesh pocket on either end.

Slide brace and mesh into the black pvc slot.

Attach the short sides to the provided bracket

Attach the 4 legs

Slide elastic bands through skirt and over the legs

Last but most importantly attach your blower
How tall is the Cool Spot Bed?
The bed height is 7". For reference, stair steps can be up to 7.75"
